ENROLMENT
Enrolment for student residence halls in the academic year 2024/25.
The application will be available under the ‘applications’ tab on your e-KUL/e-Rekrut account. The application will only be available to those who are studying or have confirmed their choice of study at KUL. The first round of applications runs until 10 July 2024.
1. A place in the SRH is awarded upon the student’s application.
The application should indicate the preferred – selected SRH
– ul. Konstantynów 1D “Konstantyna” – Lublin (student residence hall for women)
– ul. Konstantynów 1A “Idzi” – Lublin (student residence hall for men)
– ul. Konstantynów 1B “Karol” – Lublin (student residence hall for men)
– ul. Niecała 8 “Idzi” – Lublin (men’s + matrimonial residence hall)
– ul. Ofiar Katynia 6 “Stella” – Stalowa Wola (separate men’s and women’s sections)
2. MINORS may apply for a place in the student residence halls on the basis of a declaration by a parent or legal guardian submitted while applying.
3. Submitting an application consists of:
– correct completion and validation of the application on the e-Kul/e-Rekrut platform)
Applications can be submitted by any interested student.
4. Priority for a place in a student residence hall is determined primarily by eligibility for a social grant including:
– distance from permanent residence;
– financial hardship (based on monthly income per person in the family);
– orphanhood;
– disability;
– single parenting;
– continuation of accommodation;
– timely payment of fees in previous years;
– date of application.
Persons wishing to take advantage of the priority rules for the allocation of a place in student residence hall are required to attach a copy of their disability certificate to their application. Other priority details must be provided in the application.
Please send scans of additional documents (e.g. disability certificate) to kds@kul.pl with the remark “zalacznik name of applicant“.

5. Applications for a place in student residence hall submitted by:
a. 10 July – shall be considered on 12 July at the SRHC meeting;
b. 24 July – shall be considered on 26 July at the SRHC meeting;
c. 7 August – shall be considered on 9 August at the SRHC meeting;
d. 27 August – shall be considered on 29 August at the SRHC meeting;
e. 21 September – shall be considered on 23 September at the SRHC meeting.
6. Information on the granting or refusal of a place in dormitory is only given electronically by publishing it on your e-KUL account. Information can also be obtained in person in the student residence hall.
7. As per the 2024/25 Enrolment schedule:
1. The SRHC meeting on 12 July 2024 shall mainly consider applications from existing residents and students from the second year upwards, as well as those who have not previously lived in the student residence halls of the Catholic University of Lublin,
2. At the SRHC meeting on 26 July 2024, applications submitted by students recruited for first-cycle and uniform master’s degrees programmes shall mainly be considered,
3. At the SRHC meeting on 9 August 2024, applications submitted by students recruited for the second-cycle programme shall be considered.
4. At the SRHC meeting on 29 August 2024, the remaining applications from students and non-students at the Catholic University of Lublin shall be considered.
5. At the SRHC meeting on 23 September 2024, the remaining applications shall be considered.
The pool of available beds has been divided to ensure equal access for all applicants.
8. An applicant who has been awarded a bed in a student residence hall is required to confirm acceptance of a place in a student residence hall by paying a booking deposit in the amount of the monthly rent due for the allocated bed by the due date:
a. by 19 July – for a bed awarded on 12 July,
b. by 2 August – for a bed awarded on 26 July,
c. by 16 August – for a bed awarded on 9 August,
d. by 5 September – for a bed awarded on 29 August,
e. until 30 September – for a bed awarded on 23 September.
The deposit serves as security for any damage caused to the student residence hall or non-payment of the student residence hall rent. The deposit is refunded at the student’s request after the student has left the student residence hall in accordance with § 4 of the Regulations of the Student Residence Halls of the Catholic University of Lublin.
Details of the amount and method of payment are included in the notice of awarding a bed. Failure to make a payment by the specified deadline shall be deemed to be a cancellation of the awarded bed.
9. How to select your preferred room/segment and composition shall be available after 10 September on the website of the specific dormitory.
10. Persons from outside the Catholic University of Lublin who would like to live in student residence hall of KUL should fill in an editable PDF application form and then send a scan of the signed printout to the e-mail address of the respective student residence hall.
11. Students who have terminated their accommodation during the academic year in order to return the deposit should complete and return the signed application to tomasz.kolodziejczyk@kul.pl. Application for refund of deposit.
